ACT Baseball Umpires Association (ACTBUA)
Please note, ACTBUA is an independent, registered Association and not part of Baseball Canberra.
The integrity of baseball rests with the umpire, who is entrusted with ensuring the game is played according to the rules and with fairness for all involved. In carrying out these responsibilities, the umpire must consistently interpret and apply the rules as written.
However, no rulebook can anticipate every situation in the game, and at times, the umpire must rely on sound judgement and fairness to make the right call.
In Canberra, we thank the work of the ACT Baseball Umpires Association (ACTBUA). ACTBUA’s objective is to be the peak organisation in Canberra for baseball umpire education, growth and umpiring pathways.
