Women's Baseball
Women's Baseball ACT
Baseball Canberra is committed to growing opportunities for women and girls at all levels of the game—whether as players, coaches, officials, or volunteers. We recognise the important role women already play in our community, reflected in a Board made up of 50% women, and are actively working to create more inclusive and visible pathways for our local women and girls.
- Player Pathways: Baseball Canberra’s Elite Player Program supports female athletes, with notable success including Maddison Erwin (2020) and Ashley Patton.
- Elite Representation: Canberra has produced Australian Emeralds players, such as Ash Patton and Maddison Erwin, who played in the 2023 Women’s Baseball World Cup.
- Development: Baseball Canberra promotes inclusive programs and coaching for women and girls in the sport.
Local competitions provide opportunities for women to compete, volunteer, and lead in the sport within the ACT region.
